Management and Development Centers in India, London, UK and
California, US or to Advanced Development Center in Central

the fact that most of the IT'ans over the world are Indians.
Our commitment to our customers and our obsession with quality
ensures your success and your bottom line cost savings.
How We Engage
Kosher Softwares can deliver software development solutions
in a number of ways. You can outsource your project onsite
at your facility, offsite at one of our development labs,
or offshore at Kosher's Advanced Software Development facilities
in India and other centers mentioned earlier. For additional
flexibility, these options can be used in combination to achieve
fast, high quality results.
Onsite Development
In this approach, all the activities are performed at the
customer site. The project management and design & development
teams are all based at that location. Customer's sponsors
work closely with Kosher's project management and design team
to establish deliverables, timelines, team composition, etc.
Day-to-day supervision of the activities is handled by a combination
of the customer's team and Kosher's team. This approach is
ideal for engagements where:
* The scope has not been defined in detail
* The scope may undergo a number of changes
* The deliverables or the requirements can change dynamically
* Timelines are aggressive
Offsite Development
In this approach, work is performed at Kosher's own
development lab at its offices in the US or UK. Prior to beginning
any work, the Kosher team meets with the customer team to
work out the details of the engagement. The project scope,
deliverables, screen layouts, reporting, functionality issues,
timelines, etc. are all defined in detail. A small mockup
of the actual application may also be developed during this
phase to understand the look and feel of the end product.
After
the definition phase, work moves to the Kosher Softwares lab.
Deliverables and other progress reports will be made available
to the customer at pre-agreed intervals. The customer may
choose to receive remote access to the development server
via a VPN or some other secure means. By accessing the development
server remotely, the customer can monitor progress in real
time, and maintain overall control even though work is being
carried out offsite. This approach is ideal for engagements
where:
*
The scope has been defined in detail
* Timelines are aggressive
* There may be a need for the customer to visit with the development
team or the team's managers for greater efficiency
Offshore Development
In this approach, work is actually performed at Kosher Softwares's
Project Management and Development Center located in UK and
US, and at Advanced Software Development Centers in Central
India. Prior to the beginning of any work, a US or Europe-based
Kosher Software team meets with the customer team to work
out details of the engagement. The scope of the project, the
deliverables, screen layouts, reporting, functionality, timelines,
etc. are all defined in detail. A small mockup of the actual
application may also be developed during this phase to understand
the look-and-feel of the end product.
After
the definition phase, the work activity is performed at one
of the Development Centers. Progress reports and deliverables
will be made available to the customer at pre-agreed intervals.
The customer may choose to receive remote access to the development
server via a VPN or some other secure means. By accessing
the development server remotely, the customer can monitor
progress in real time, and maintain overall control even though
work is being carried out offsite. This approach is ideal
for engagements where:
* Budget is limited
* The scope and requirements are stable and well-defined
* Timelines are aggressive
Combination Development
By using a combination of onsite, offsite and offshore resources,
customers can maximize utilization of time and resources for
complex projects. Also, if designed correctly, this arrangement
allows retention of control for high-to-medium level issues
while eliminating day-to-day involvement in mundane, routine
details. The benefits of various combinations include:
